UATUMÃ AND JATAPU RIVERS
The Uatumã River is one of the largest tributaries of the Amazon River, featuring abundant waters alongside numerous lakes and lagoons. Its primary tributary, the Jatapu River, is also one of our favored fishing locations. The area is rich in diverse flora and fauna, showcasing breathtaking
landscapes and stunning sunsets at every turn.
During the fishing season, both rivers give rise to expansive beaches, lagoons, and impressive rock formations. From September to December, after a year of reproduction, the peacock bass becomes particularly active and eager, providing some of the best fishing experiences imaginable. These waters are home to Pacas, Popocas, Butterfly fish, and the mighty Tucunaré-açu.
The fish in these waters exhibit remarkable strength, especially in fast-flowing currents, where their power will truly amaze you. Arowanas, Pirararas, and the giant Arapaima are just a few of the other species you can encounter. Our expert guides know the best spots to target each species.
We would be delighted to host you for a five-day fishing expedition in our beautiful region.
SCHEDULE
Your arrival day in Manaus will be on a Friday. We will warmly welcome you at the airport and transport you to your hotel, where you can relax after your flight. The following day marks the beginning of our sailing adventure. Our van will take you to the hotel-boat, where you will enjoy a traditional Brazilian welcome lunch and have the opportunity to meet our entire crew.
After lunch, you will have the rest of the day to organize your personal fishing gear. We will then embark on our journey, traveling overnight to reach the Uatumã River by Sunday morning, when the fishing begins.

Arrival in Manaus, farewell lunch and transfer to the hotel Note that our fishing guides will always present you to the season best fishing spots, and you have total autonomy on where you want us to go or stay.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks will be provided on the hotel-boat, with the exception of the special days mentioned earlier. Fresh water and a variety of beverages will always be available for your enjoyment.

- Tips to the fishing guides and to the crew (5%-10% of the package price is recommended)
