Fishing Expedition
UATUMÃ AND JATAPU RIVERS
The Uatumã river is one of the biggest afluents of the amazon river, with voluminous water and innumerous lakes and lagoons. Its main afluent and also one of our fishing sites is the Jatapu river. Abundant fauna and flora, beautiful landscapes and stunning sunsets are seen everywhere.
During the fishing season both of the rivers originate large beaches, lagoons and large rock formations. After reproducing all year long, from september to december the peacock bass is starving and ready to give you the best fishing action you can have. These waters hold Pacas, Popocas, Butterfly and the huge Tucunaré-açu.
The fishes are especially strong in fast current areas, where their strength will blow your mind. Arowanas, Pirararas and the giant Arapaima are some of others species you can find. Our guides know just the best spots for each one of them.
We would be honored to take you on a 5 days fishing expedition in our home.
